Hirak Dutta has > 45 yrs of rich and varied experience in the oil industry, including in operations, safety and project management, among others. He is currently working as an Expert Advisor of Technical Safety at PNGRB, as well as teaches fire and life safety audits at Indraprastha University in Delhi, India. Prior to this position, Dutta was the Executive Director of the Oil Industry Safety Directorate under India’s Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing safety implementation in the entire oil and gas industry.
