Omota, F.
Florin Omota is a Senior Process Engineering Manager at Fluor in Amsterdam. He joined Fluor in 2005, where he is recognized as a subject matter expert in process control. In 2018, he became a Certified Functional Safety Expert by Exida. He also worked as Chief Engineer in an ether glycol and derivatives plant at Chimopar SA in Bucharest, Romania. In 1999, he joined the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Amsterdam as a researcher in process simulation and reactive distillation. He holds a PhD in catalyst modification, slurry reactor performance improvement and scale-up.
